One Skein Roving Cowl | The Tale of the Macaroni Scarf

I love cowls and infinity scarves. I've never been super crazy about regular scarves...I think because they blow around and feel fussy. So far, I think I've made eight different cowls...the kids adopted a few of them thankfully. Mostly they have been an exercise in new techniques or stitches, not really following any sort of pattern. This is my first attempt at really following directions.

I had never even touched wool roving before. I am still not sure how I feel about it. On one hand, I love and adore the look. It is the softest, squishiest thing I have ever touched. It is also super warm and cozy...which I love. But my near-obsession with hand lotion made it feel weird in my hands and it got stuck around my fingers often. My cat also has a new-found obsession with wool...Until I figured out that my WIP had to stashed up high it tended to move around when I wasn't looking.

After wearing/hugging it for a few days, I sorta want one in every color. That is normal, right?
