I know, I know. It has been a while since I have updated this blog. I got a wee bit busy, and a wee bit forgetful. But I have still been working and crafting and creating. I have even been branching out and working with other groups and making customs.
After much waffling and indecision (and with a little help from my friends), I settled on this image from the newer version of The Great Gatsby. The theme for Polish Pickup is (again) Cocktails & Mocktails. I initially wanted to do something else, but I just couldn't get it together in the right order. A friend suggested this picture, and the pieces fell right into place
This is a 10mm x 50mm zinc alloy rectangular pendant hanging from a 16in waxed black cord. I used a rosey-gold palette, and chose some of the most shifty/sparkly/spangly shades I could find. It has a very "bohemian pretending to be deco" vibe, which is just right for something Jay Gatsby inspired.
Here is me, wearing it. I have it on one of the last hooks, and it hangs in a nice spot. If you are fair, it will definitely have a soft and refined look. I really like it against black clothing.
